SimplyMeds Online is a registered online Pharma Business run by authorised pharmacists and practitioners to provide simple, reliable and affordable private healthcare conveniently to patients across the UK.

Client Requirement

SimplyMeds Online wanted to develop a full-fledged website focusing on delivering medicines and online consultations for their customers. With the platform they needed to be able to fully manage all online services, customer data, orders and delivery in one place.

The Challenges

We needed to develop an online web platform which included an online consultation wherein the customers’ had to choose the treatment from a set of given options and order medicines. Before any purchases can be completed, the customer is required to go through a series of questions, where they can respond either saying YES or NO. These answers will decide on whether the customer can purchase/order the medicines. We also had to create a login area for customers, integrate cart and payment gateway.

Developed a fully functional & high-quality cloud-based web platform with an efficient online platform allowing for consultations and ordering of medicines

Created a 3 in 1 back-end platform for the client to monitor operations across their 3 websites.

Created a login area for customers to create accounts and login

Handle delivery and returns

Created an option where the questions can be auto-generated when a customer clicks on a particular treatment. The client has the option to add/delete/edit the groups of questions related to the particular illness.

Integrated the registration details and quick verify logo for customers/wholesalers to check the authenticity of the pharmacy.

Enabled the option for registered practitioners to prescribe medicines following the treatment conditions entered by the customer/patient.

Programmed the backend system using advanced PHP Language and Laravel Framework.

Developed the web application using JQuery, HTML and Ajax.

Integrated the Realex /Elavon Payment Gateways, and card payments through VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express to accept payments in a secure manner and at the click of a button.

Developed a mobile app to reach customers more effectively.

Integrated App download links on the website to enable customers to easily download the app from the Google Play store or Apple store.

Made it easy to securely store and archive all the data fully encrypted and GDPR compliant.
